HTTO (how to turn on) the radio is a robot I have made that turn on the radio… Rube Goldberg style! This was also one of my entries to the crazy contraption competition. N.B. I’ve lost the video i’m sorry.
Axle ramp
The axle ramp is a ramp for ball. It is very long and was a very stressful thing too. Red balls turn the radio on/off, yellow turns it louder and green turns it down. So it took me about 4 hours to sus this and many back breaking heart breaking moments but it’s here at last…
The Flipper
As you can see in the picture over there, there is a minifigue standing in the flipper. the flipper is geared 3:1 and is perfect for throwing balls to the colour sensor further down line…
The colour sensor
…sees the the ball and according to the colour it intructs the other two moters on what to do. Red balls turn the radio on/off, yellow turns it louder and green turns it down.
The big useless tubing bit
As the title says it’s tubing that the balls go on after they have been scanned by the colour sensor.
Conclusion
HTTO the radio took many fustrating hours of adjustments and many tellings offs of my “messy” room!!! Until next time, Maerskfan
